IT'S OFFICIAL I'M ENGAGED. And I don't have to feel so pathetic with my blog updates now :) I cant seem to focus on anything I need to because I am so OCD about wedding plans. dresses, decorations, food, clothes, favors. It's ridiculous.

So it's final. I ordered my first love. The Edwardian wedding dress(see below). Who cares if it's not very traditional, I like the old-fashioned feel and I absolutely love the dress. Just crossing my fingers it fits! (online shopping=scary). I put down a deposit on a venue too! EEeeeee... well, that place is like a fairytale. I'm really excited about it. Save the date: May 13th! Alex & I also met with a photographer over the weekend. Brittany Cascio. She seemed super upbeat and quirky and fun, and took us out to Casper's for ice-cream. We both agree that she's our girl! You can see some of her work here:

Okay so the pinwheel in the middle is kind of representation of the colors/tones I'm looking at. And the teal with the flower above. Thinking that teal and peach will be central colors. The rest are all just fun ideas I like. If you click on them, they enlarge. ALSO, pay attention to the fun candy bar. I looove that idea.

Drum Roll Please...

Yes, my dream dress has been found. And only $350?! YES please. It's really creepy how excited I am about this. Except not. Because Alex and I talk about getting married everyday all day lately. So HMPH. :)




Bridesmaids. Of course, you have to look fabulous too. Nissa & I decided that she will be well with child, so a wrap dress would be most flattering. Conveniently, I already thought that would be pretty. So Nissa, I'm taking credit. This will take some time to pin down. but roughly, i think brown wrap dresses of some sort, and green shoes. teal/green bouquets? hm hm hm...

The Inspiration

Like a silly schoolgirl, I have been oggling over wedding material for far too long. Maybe that's because I have the most amazing man in my life? eh? And I could actually see this happening... EH? *sigh* wishful thinking. Anyways, when I spotted this lovely dress, the inspiration started to flow. Unfortunately, I've found this specific dress to now be mythical in existence... but still a great starting point! And I've decided to begin a top-secret blog to organize my wedding whims. Because SOMEDAY... well, you know the drill. :)
